Ganesh Yantra
Painting Workshop

December 21, 2024 | 9 AM to 5 PM | Harbin Hot Springs, Middletown CA

Overview

Immerse yourself in a full-day Yantra Drawing & Painting Workshop at the tranquil Harbin Hot Springs. Held in a cozy yurt beside a gently flowing creek, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with the ancient and meditative art of yantra painting, fostering both artistic skills and spiritual connection.  In this workshop, we will focus on the Ganesh Yantra, a powerful geometric symbol associated with Lord Ganesha, revered as the remover of obstacles and the patron of arts and sciences.

We will begin the day with a simple grounding Asana and Pranayama practice to center the mind and body, followed by chanting the Ganesh mantra to set our intentions. In the morning session, we will concentrate on drawing the Ganesh Yantra with attention to its geometric precision. Afterwards, we will pause to relax in the rejuvenating waters of Harbin Hot Springs and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we will paint the Yantra with specific colors that resonate with Ganesha's powerful energy. With each stroke, you will experience the calming, meditative effects of this ancient practice, nurturing mindfulness and inner harmony.

No prior experience is needed. This workshop is designed to guide you step-by-step in a peaceful environment. You will receive the tools and instruction needed to complete your yantra that you can take with you as a meaningful keepsake and a sacred addition to your space.
